The Montreal-based circus company says it's partnered with resort developer Grupo Vidanta to construct and operate the first-of-its kind park in Nuevo Vallarta.
It may also include water park and nature park elements.
In a statement, Cirque founder Guy Laliberté vows it will be "something unlike anything the world has seen before."
Construction is expected to be complete in 2018.
