Russian tour companies interested in Mexican destinations
Mexico City, Sep 8 (EFE).- Russia's largest tour companies are
looking at ways to promote Mexican destinations among Russian travelers,
the Tourism Secretariat said.
Tourism Secretary Claudia Ruiz Massieu made progress during a tour of Russia in opening that market for Mexico, the secretariat said in a statement.
"As a result of Ruiz Massieu's work, air links were expanded and different tour operators expressed interest in putting products like Vallarta-Nayarit and other destinations on the market," the secretariat said.
Tour operator South Cross expressed interest in promoting products that include Puerto Vallarta and other Mexican Pacific destinations for the 2014-2015 winter season.
